🔴 The ongoing violations against Dr. Mohamed Beltagy
Mrs. Sanaa Abdeljawad, the wife of Dr. Mohamed Beltagy, conveys a painful message revealing a new aspect of the violations he is subjected to inside his detention, as she states:
"I learned that my husband Dr. Mohamed Beltagy has been held in a remote and solitary place for more than a month and a half, isolated from all other detainees, not hearing a human voice nor being heard.
How far can animosity and cruelty towards him go?!
Thirteen years of injustice and suffering are not enough?!
And now, an additional layer of injustice upon injustice, and oppression upon oppression is added…
God is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs against all who have wronged him or increased his suffering and pain.
O Allah, be his voice when he is isolated, a companion when he is left alone, and a light for him when darkness intensifies.
O Allah, return him to us safe, and replace his distress with relief and an exit."
🔻 Al-Shehab Center demands:
The immediate cessation of the ongoing violations against Dr. Mohamed Beltagy.
An immediate investigation by the Attorney General into the conditions of his detention and the punishment of those responsible for his forced isolation.
Guaranteeing his right to humane and legal communication and appropriate care.
